How does the 5-Arm Tree Percolator work?
The tree perc consists of five separate glass tubes (arms) inside the water chamber. As you inhale, smoke is pulled down and out of the slits at the bottom of each arm, rapidly dividing the smoke into dozens of tiny bubbles. This quick, high-surface-area interaction with the water is what removes impurities and drastically cools the temperature for a smooth hit.
Why choose a Beaker base over a Straight Tube?
The Beaker design provides maximum stability. The wide, flared base makes it extremely difficult to tip over, reducing the risk of accidental breakage. It also allows for a much larger volume of water compared to a straight tube of the same height, which enhances cooling capacity.
Is the Tree Perc hard to clean?
Tree percs require a bit more attention than simple diffusers, but they are easy to clean with the right method. We recommend a cleaning solution of isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) and coarse salt. The key is to let it soak for a few hours, then shake vigorously. The fixed downstem also simplifies the cleaning process as there are no removable parts in the main chamber.
